We are barely into 2025, and already the color trends for next year are being rolled out. Personally, I love this because it gives me a long runway to create artwork in line with these trends. This year I have an especially easy task since one of the featured hues is teal — a color that shows up in approximately 99% of my existing work. Here are some examples:
Why Teal?
According to WGSN and Coloro:
“2026 will be a year of redirection, where old ideas are challenged as people push for urgent change in how we treat our societies, organize our industries, and interact with our environments. For color, this will be reflected in a mix of vibrant brights, earthy and offbeat naturals, and calming tinted tones.
