This design is a reflection of my renewed interest in motifs inspired by Modern Tropical’s birthplace: the island of Oahu. So much of my recent work features traditional Hawaiian motifs blended with my signature whimsical, colorful style. This maximal botanical design blends tropical foliage with vibrant flowers, all on a multicolored background to create a sense of movement and high energy.
This design works wonderfully as atmospheric art to lend a tropical vibe to any space. It is equally effective on merchandise ranging from throw pillows to notebooks to phone cases.
